Meet the Team

  • Sandra Kaye, Founder | CEO

    Sandra is a communications veteran with over 20 years of experience. She leads the studio in lifting up change-making businesses ready to break through barriers or redefine industry norms.

    Sandra has played key leadership roles including as a Public Information Officer and Supervisory Park Ranger in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, as Communications Coordinator for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and as a Program Leader for the University of Florida.

    She is Mom to 2 boys, admirer of Captain Jean-Luc Picard, and has a slightly worrying addiction to college basketball. She is writing her first children's chapter book series called Kid Rangers.

  • Jay Cameron, Operations | CFO

    Jay’s career has taken him to some of the most remote and wild places in the U.S. He began as a wildland firefighter with a hotshot crew in the western U.S. Through his career, he served as spokesperson for several federal agencies and coordinated fire response and budgets for some of the largest wildfires in American history.

    Jay’s interests in communication and strategy took him up to the national office for the National Park Service in Washington, D.C., where he served as National Operations Program Lead.

    He is Dad to 2 kids, wants to visit every stadium and arena he physically can, and has a love/hate relationships with wilderness camping.

  • Gracie, Play Coach

    Gracie is a great dane play coach with many years of experience coaxing her co-workers to take breaks and get physically active. She specializes in very large zoomies, long walks, and snowball fights.

    Gracie continually reminds her colleagues to enjoy the simple pleasures in life, as hers didn’t start out so lucky. Rescued from an abusive household, she takes every opportunity to be a sun dog and live life to its fullest.

    Her interests include licking kitchen countertops, stretching exercises on the entire couch, and blocking entryways. She hopes to one day be a lap dog.

  • Kane, Relaxation Tutor

    Kane is a 12-year-old American bulldog with a Master’s degree in Relaxation Management. He has an Art minor in Pitiful Eyes Expression. His impressive snores remind his colleagues that head-cancelling headphones are a good business investment.

    Kane specializes in warming his co-worker’s feet, encouraging his supervisors to take rest breaks to rub his belly, and taking long naps.

    His interests are sleeping, farting, eating, and sleeping.

  • Interns, Human Resources

    Cheeto, Firefly, and Kevin have been with Sandra Kaye Writes for two years. They are learning the ropes of how to take care of employee’s mental health and hiring folks who align with the company culture.

    They are in charge of ensuring co-workers have plenty of opportunities to pet, scritch, brush, cuddle, and snuggle them, as research indicates cuteness brings down stress and anxiety.

    All 3 specialize in laying on keyboards, cleaning desks of pens, and giving Gracie and Kane plenty of daily footwork practice.
